Laws impacting the sale of knives
and controlled items in Queensland

Regulations enforceable 1 September 2024

The new laws regarding the sale of knives came into effect in Queensland from 1st September 2024 which means that knives and other items will be considered controlled items, and no longer available online to Queensland residents.

In due course we aim to implement an age verification process along with delivery
drivers or transport services to conduct ID checks during home delivery. Sales of knives will not be finalised until ID has been provided and verified.

As a result, we felt it was in our best interests to remove knives from our website for the time being.
